Overview: This RII20215 Certificate II in Surface Extraction Operations qualification reflects the role of individuals working as operators on sites such as an open cut coal mine, a quarry or an open cut metalliferous mine, undertaking a prescribed range of tasks involving known routines and procedures, and taking some responsibility for the quality of work outcomes.
Duration: 6 Months. (Course duration subject to prior experience and time constraints)
Recognition of current competence is offered throughout the course as well as credits for any prior learning, where evidence can be provided.
